Reconstruction

Luke Hart

These files reflect the Order during the post-World War I period (1918-1930). The resignation of Supreme Advocate Joseph C. Pelletier, and the appointment of Luke E. Hart to fill this office were highlights of the 1922 Supreme Convention.

A Reconstruction Movement began in the Order and a 35 point platform was presented to the Board of Directors. These files document this period of the Order’s history and include this 1924 pamphlet outlining the Facts and Figures of the Order in 1923 and a pamphlet advertising architectural drawing, one of the Knights of Columbus Educational Bureau’s post-war correspondence courses.
