On the occasion of the William Congdon exhibition and publication The Sabbath of History: William Congdon, the Knights of Columbus Museum and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas present a gallery talk and a panel discussion on Congdon's career. Daniel Mason, editor of the exhibition catalogue and co-curator of the exhibition, will offer a gallery talk, "William Congdon: A Personal Revolution" at 12:30 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. panel discussion "William Congdon: Action Painter" with Congdon scholars Susan Greenberg Fisher, Robert S. Nelson, and Margaret Olin.
The event is free and open to the public.
